Aneka Tambang (Persero) (ASX:ATM) said it plans to conduct nickel exploration in North Konawe and Pomalaa in Southeast Sulawesi, as well as within the mining business license areas of the firm's unit, PT Sumberdaya Arindo (PT SDA), in Buli, North Maluku, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The exploration program includes single-tube drilling, geological mapping, core sampling, core logging, drill hole measurement, geophysical surveys, drilling activities, sample preparation, and sample analysis.

It conducted gold exploration activities in Pongkor in West Java via underground drilling, surface drilling, traverse survey, geological mapping, sampling, and geochemical analysis until March 31. Bauxite exploration activities were conducted in Tayan and Landak in West Kalimantan.
