Microsoft's (MSFT) carbon removal program "has not ended," Bloomberg News reported Tuesday, citing Chief Sustainability Officer Melanie Nakagawa.
The remarks helped dismiss speculation that the technology giant it is abandoning its efforts to build out the technology, according to the report.
"We continue to both build on and support our existing portfolio of both nature-based and technology-based solutions," Nakagawa told the news outlet.
Microsoft didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
