智通财经APP获悉，印尼将提高镍矿基准价格，这将进一步加剧当地加工商因中东战争而面临的成本压力。根据印尼能源和矿产资源部的一份报告，新的定价公式将于周三生效，届时所有品级镍矿的最低价格都将上调。矿石中含有的副产品金属(包括钴)的成本也将被纳入基准价格。
印尼能源部长上个月表示，政府计划提高基准价格。由于伊朗战争导致油价上涨，这个资源丰富的国家正面临日益严峻的财政压力，因此一直在寻求增加国家收入。
此举将对这个全球最大的镍生产国庞大的加工业造成打击，该行业的产量占全球镍产量的一半以上。虽然更严格的采矿配额已经将高品位镍矿的价格推高到远高于政府基准价格，但低品位镍矿的价格上涨幅度可能更大。
这些低品位镍矿通常被高压酸浸厂收购，加工成电动汽车电池制造商所需的镍。由于伊朗战争导致波斯湾地区的硫磺供应中断，这些冶炼厂已经遭受了硫磺(一种关键试剂)价格飙升的打击。
印尼的基准价格规定了冶炼厂向矿商支付矿石的最低价格。这些价格根据伦敦金属交易所的价格而变化，每月调整两次。
