量化对冲基金Meridian & Saturn Capital表示，已获得10亿美元委托来交易中国股票。这是投资者正在增加对世界第二大经济体配置的又一个迹象。
该基金创始合伙人暨首席执行官Kate Zhang在接受采访时表示，这家新加坡公司将采用市场中性策略来交易中国境内股票。
Zhang以保密协议为由，拒绝透露投资方的名称，但表示是一家中东主权财富基金。Zhang还表示，如果达到业绩目标，这家主权财富基金将考虑追加投资。目前尚无法核实该项投资安排的具体细节。
Zhang表示，MS Capital目前正与其他中东基金洽谈潜在投资事宜，并计划在阿布扎比、香港和美国开设办事处，以把握不断涌现的投资机遇。该公司管理着约15亿美元，其中包括来自这家中东客户的初始5亿美元投资。
