Boeing (BA) will install the SES in-cabin hardware network on aircraft during factory production under a collaboration between the companies, SES said Tuesday.
The partnership will allow airlines to receive new planes with the onboard network in place and connectivity service available immediately after delivery through a Boeing-provided modification, according to SES.
The company said the offering will initially be available on Boeing 737 jets followed by the 787 model.
