路透香港4月14日 - 汇丰控股0005.HK, HSBA.L集团主席利伯特(Brendan Nelson)周二表示，达成中东和平协议对于确保全球能源流动大幅恢复至关重要，因为由油价推动的通胀正成为世界经济面临的一大风险。
利伯特在香港举行的汇丰全球投资峰会上补充道，只要不确定性持续存在，能源价格就会维持在高位。
自伊朗战争爆发以来，油价已大幅飙升，目前仍维持在每桶100美元左右。投资者正为霍尔木兹海峡可能出现的长期紧张局势做准备，全球五分之一的石油和天然气通常需经此海峡运输。
利伯特警告称，鉴于伊朗冲突的影响尚未被完全厘清，应“对当前的全球增长、贸易和通胀预测保持相当程度的谨慎”。
“干扰持续的时间越长，能源成本上升带来的间接影响就越会推高通胀并抑制增长，”利伯特表示。
鉴于海峡迅速重开的可能性不大，利伯特表示，鉴于短期和长期市场利率的上升已收紧了金融环境，他预计今年美国、欧洲和英国的利率将保持不变。（完）
