Uber Technologies (UBER) has introduced a new returns feature on Uber Eats that allows customers to schedule home pickups for unwanted retail items, CNBC reported Friday, citing the company.
The service allows couriers to pick up and return eligible items purchased from retailers, including Best Buy (BBY), Dick's Sporting Goods (DKS) and Petco Health and Wellness (WOOF), on the Uber Eats app, the company reportedly said.
Customer refunds will be processed upon pickup if minimum value requirements are met, according to the report.
Uber said the feature is a first for the on-demand delivery industry, CNBC added.
Uber didn't immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
