ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Block 报道，以太坊基金会（EF）核心人物 Josh Stark 宣布离职，在任五年，将于月底正式卸任。Stark 于 2019 年加入以太坊基金会，最初供职于特别项目团队，后晋升至领导层，曾与 EF 主席 Aya Miyaguchi、以太坊创始人 Vitalik Buterin 及联席执行董事 Hsiao-Wei Wang、Bastian Aue 等高层共事。
他是基金会对外形象最为鲜明的成员之一，曾主导以太坊多项重大进展，包括从工作量证明切换至权益证明的 “The Merge” 升级，以及 Dencun、Fusaka、Pectra 等后续升级。去年基金会高层调整期间，他被任命为 EF 董事会 “联席管理人”，并在近期出任 “万亿美元安全” 计划联席主席。
上月，Stark 与 Josh Rudolf 及 Julian Ma 联合撰写了一篇以太坊战略博客文章，阐述以太坊最新的扩容方向及其与 Layer 2 生态的关系。Stark 表示：“我尚未规划未来，只想先好好休息，与家人和朋友共度时光。”此次离职发生在以太坊基金会持续变革的背景下。
去年基金会经历重大领导层调整，此后将战略重心重新聚焦于以太坊主网扩容及核心 cypherpunk 价值观；Tomasz K. Stańczak 亦于今年 2 月底辞去联席执行董事职务，在任不足一年。同日，Trent Van Epps 也宣布离开 EF，转而全职投入其创立的以太坊核心开发者独立资助组织 Protocol Guild。
