ChainCatcher 消息，以太坊 NFT 市场 Foundation 正式宣布永久关闭。创始人 Kayvon Tehranian 于 X 上发文表示，原计划将平台出售给一位有意继续运营的买家，但交易最终告吹，公司认为不值得再寻找其他买家。平台基础设施已被关闭，无重新上线计划。
今年 1 月，Tehranian 曾将 Foundation 所有权转让给数字艺术展示公司 BlackDove，当时称此举是为平台长期发展。然而 BlackDove 在完成运营移交后才进行完整尽职调查，最终认定自建专有市场更为可行，双方合作随即终止。
Foundation 自上线以来促成约 2.3 亿美元的初级销售，曾举办过 Jen Stark、James Jean 与 Edward Snowden 等艺术家的标志性拍卖。该关闭事件也再次引发外界对托管于中心化基础设施上的 NFT 持久性的质疑。
