La Trobe Private Credit Fund (ASX:LF1) said an entity associated with La Trobe Financial Group shareholder Brookfield Asset Management and private equity investment manager Axight signed an agreement for the latter to acquire a minority stake in the La Trobe Financial Group, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
Brookfield Asset Management will remain La Trobe Financial Group's majority owner following the deal, the filing said.
