据知情人士透露，全球规模最大、最具影响力的风投机构之一红杉资本，已为一只新基金募集约70亿美元，这也是红杉换新管理层后的首轮募资。该新基金将助力红杉加大对大型企业的投资布局，其中包括OpenAI、Anthropic等人工智能初创企业。这类企业对高昂算力资源的庞大需求，推动其募资规模屡创新高。这70亿美元将专项用于该机构所谓的扩张战略，支持其在美国和欧洲市场开展后期阶段投资。该规模约为红杉上一只扩张基金的两倍——其2022年曾募集一只34亿美元的同类基金。上述知情人士要求匿名，因相关信息未对外公开，其表示此次募资于今年早些时候完成。
