　　特朗普称：“看看石油，再看看我们现在支付的价格，要是按照我此前必须采取的举措来做，油价本会达到当前水平的两倍左右。我们眼下的谈判进展十分顺利，我认为一旦达成，协议很快就会公布，这将让我们获得免费石油，并自由掌控霍尔木兹海峡。一切都会顺利，而且我认为油价还会跌到比以往更低的水平。”
