社交媒体平台X的巴黎办公室今年早些时候遭到突击搜查后，美国司法部已告知法国执法部门，不会协助法方调查埃隆．马斯克的X公司。

　　美国司法部国际事务办公室在周五发出的一封长达两页的信函中，指责法方不当利用其司法系统干预一家美国公司。

　　媒体查阅了这封信函，信中称：“这项调查试图利用法国的刑事法律体系，以一种违背美国宪法第一修正案的方式，来监管一个用于自由表达思想和观点的公共广场。”

　　该信函还表示，法国请求美国协助的举动“是企图将美国卷入一场带有政治色彩的刑事诉讼，其目的在于通过起诉来不当监管一家社交媒体平台的商业活动。”

　　美国司法部证实发出了这封信，收信方是法国司法部的一个国际合作办公室。

　　负责此项调查的巴黎检察官办公室表示，对这封信并不知情。该办公室补充说，法国宪法保障其司法独立，法国的检察官对刑事调查拥有唯一授权。
