Mermaid Subsea Services （UK）已续签水下支援船Island Valiant的合同，进一步巩固其在北海退役市场的地位。

　　过去三年来，该船一直为Mermaid在该地区的运营提供支持，包括油井封堵弃置以及检查、维修和保养作业。

　　新协议将该船在北海盆地的运营承诺再延长12个月，预计该地区的作业活动将有所增加。

　　自2021年起进入英国市场运营的Mermaid表示，过去五年间公司在水下退役领域积累了深厚的专业知识和经验。

　　Mermaid Subsea Services （UK）区域总监Scott Cormack表示：“北海退役市场正处于关键时刻，未来数月乃至数年的作业活动将逐步增加。过去五年，我们积累的专业知识和经验使我们成为该地区的领先服务提供商。”

　　“通过再承诺在该盆地运营12个月，我们将继续为客户提供油井退役和资产完整性方面的专业服务，这有助于实现安全、高效且盈利的作业。”

　　该公司表示，2025年完成了10口井的井口切割作业，并为Anasuria FPSO提供了一次油井干预服务。此前的2024年是其创纪录的一年，共完成了30口井的封堵弃置作业，是该盆地历史上单年度完成船舶油井退役作业数量最多的纪录。

　　Mermaid还在2025年底完成了一个快速水下回收项目，涉及套管和导管切割、海床挖掘、结构回收及废物管理作业。
