智通财经APP获悉，香港运输署积极推动牌照服务电子化，最新数据显示，2025年经网上续领车辆牌照的比例已升至28%，较2024年的约17%明显增加。同时，续领正式驾驶执照及国际驾驶许可证的网上申请比例，分别占48%及56%。香港运输署表示，未来将进一步利用人工智能技术优化申请流程，并将节省的人力调拨至必须亲身处理的柜位服务。
香港运输署指出，免试签发香港驾驶执照的柜位服务自上月16日起实施全面网上预约，新措施推出一个月以来，预约系统运作畅顺稳定。署方认为，新安排不仅方便不同类型的申请人，亦有助牌照处有效管理人流，提升整体服务效率。
展望未来，香港运输署表示会持续推动牌照服务电子化，逐步将网上处理所节省的人手，调拨至免试签发等必须亲身到柜位办理的服务，以更好应对日益增长的服务需求。
