4月17日，广东省委副书记、省长孟凡利主持召开省政府常务会议，会议强调，要立足本地面向全国全球拓展市场空间，进一步增强供需适配性，协同拉动经济增长。要深入挖掘消费潜力，推动商品消费扩容升级，全链条拓展服务消费，持续发力提升线上消费，积极开拓消费新业态新模式新场景。要全力稳住投资增长，积极把握工业、基础设施、房地产等领域可能的机会，多措并举谋项目、抓项目，加快项目开工建设，争取形成更多实物工作量。要积极推动外贸拓市场优结构，充分用好广交会等平台，加力扩大货物贸易，加快发展服务贸易和数字贸易，做大做强跨境电商等新业态。会议强调，要立足当前、着眼长远，加快构建以先进制造业为骨干、更加强大的现代化产业体系，大力推动人工智能高质量发展和全域全时全行业应用，促进形成绿色生产生活方式，推动制造业和服务业协同发展，突出抓好重点产业、重点产品、重点集群、重点企业，强化招商引资、招才引智，不断催生新质生产力。
