受维权投资者猜测推动，PayPal股价周五上涨约3%。此前市场传言称，一家维权投资者可能正在瞄准这家数字支付公司。
这一判断来自Gordon Haskett的Don Bilson在周五发布的一份报告，他在审查了法国兴业银行旗下经纪交易商部门SG Americas最新的13F披露文件后，认为该部门可能正在演变为维权投资者常用的掉期合约提供商。
可能成为维权投资者目标的公司之一就是PayPal。
这家支付公司在经历了一段盈利和前瞻指引不及预期的时期后，于今年2月更换了首席执行官。大约在同一时间，有未经证实的报道称PayPal已引起收购兴趣。
