Cango Names Simon Ming Yeung Tang Finance Chief

Cango said it appointed Simon Ming Yeung Tang as chief financial officer and director, effective immediately.

The bitcoin mining company on Wednesday said that Chang-Wei Chiu and Yongyi Zhang resigned from their respective positions as director and chief financial officer for personal reasons.

Tang most recently served as the chief investment officer of the company, Cango said.

Zhang served as Cango's CFO from 2018 until early 2025 before returning to that role in July 2025.
