Aurum Resources (ASX:AUE) said the diamond drilling program at the Boundiali gold project in Ivory Coast hit multiple thick gold intersections at the BDT2 deposit, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
The program encountered intercepts of 36 meters at about 2 grams per tonne (g/t) grade of gold from 280 meters, as well as 2 meters at 11.4 g/t grade of gold from 115 meters.
The drilling confirmed gold mineralization outside of the current mineral resource estimate boundaries at BDT2.
Aurum Resources' shares rose almost 4% in recent trading on Tuesday.
