　　过了谷雨节气，气温回升、雨水渐多，也到了春耕春种的关键阶段。“雨生百谷”“谷雨断霜” 这两句农谚，点明了气象与农业生产的紧密联系。此时的天气条件究竟如何助力春耕生产？

　　中国气象局原公共气象服务首席 朱定真：“雨生百谷”这个词，其实它反映了农业上的一个要素，就是雨热同期，对于农作物的生长是最重要的，或者说最有利的，那么在谷雨期间恰恰是这样的。我们说，到了“谷雨”，它是“断霜”，那“谷雨断霜”就是谷雨的时候，低层受热条件开始回暖，所以一个是雨更多了，一个是气温开始升高了，气温升高、雨多，正好是雨热同期的时候。

　　所以，这个是对农业，就是最好的一个时期，所以有说“谷雨栽下（上）红薯秧，一棵能收一大筐”，就是说在这个时候，你去栽种红薯，那么它在雨热同期的加持下，它是能够获得更好的产量的，包括品质，所以从谷雨来讲，对农业来讲确实是一个非常重要的农事活动的时期。
