IT之家 4 月 23 日消息，消息源 Michael R Carroll 发文，展示了一张位于美国旧金山湾区的特斯拉 Model Y L 原型车。作为比较，此前特斯拉 CEO 马斯克曾暗示 Model Y L 永远不会进入美国市场，如今看来马斯克似乎已开始“松口”。
对此，外媒 electrek 认为自特斯拉 Model X 停产后，目前特斯拉在美国市场急需大尺寸 SUV 产品。虽然特斯拉此前在美国市场为旗下 Model Y 标准版车型引入了可选的第三排座椅，然而由于标准版 Model Y 空间较为局促，第三排座椅实际上只适合儿童乘坐，当下特斯拉很有可能计划为美国市场引入 Model Y L 以改善局面。
