Acme International (HKG:1870) is proposing to change its English name to Green Power Group, alongside a change in its Chinese name, according to a Thursday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The name change is subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals.
The building maintenance provider has been focusing on the investment, development, and operation of green energy projects in recent years.
The firm believes the new name will align with its business scope, better reflect its positioning and corporate vision, boost strategic development, and create a new image for the company as a green energy firm.
