智通财经APP获悉，在令人失望的财务展望导致股价大幅下跌之后，奈飞(NFLX.US)计划追加250亿美元股票回购规模。
奈飞于周四提交的监管文件中表示，公司董事会已批准该项回购计划。本次新增回购额度，将叠加2024年12月获批的回购授权，该授权目前仍剩余68亿美元可用额度，且本次新回购计划不设到期时限。今年3月，奈飞已斥资约13亿美元，回购1350万股公司股票。
消息公布后，奈飞周四美股盘前一度上涨近2%。
就在此次回购公告发布的数日前，奈飞披露了不及预期的财报数据，并宣布联合创始人、董事长Reed Hastings即将卸任，双重利空叠加致使股价承压大跌。自4月16日财报发布以来，奈飞股价累计跌幅已超13%。
此外，今年2月，奈飞退出了一场争夺华纳兄弟探索公司(WBD.US)旗下流媒体及影视制作业务的激烈控制权之争。在此前长达数月、与派拉蒙(PSKY.US)的博弈过程中，市场投资者始终顾虑潜在收购交易将大幅加重奈飞的债务负担，公司股价也因此持续走弱。
