Aura Energy (ASX:AEE) said the Geological Survey of Sweden proposed designating the Häggån polymetallic deposit as a national interest for valuable materials, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The designation prevents municipalities and state authorities from granting permits for activities that may hinder future extraction, the filing said.
Aura Energy shares fell 7% in morning trade on Friday.
