Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said authorities executed search warrants in California and Washington, D.C., in connection with the shooting outside the White House Correspondents' Association dinner. Authorities have interviewed family members of the suspect, 31-year-old Cole Allen, Blanche said at a news briefing Monday.

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro said Allen could expect additional charges as authorities continue their investigation. She said Allen intended to "bring down as many of the high ranking cabinet officials as he could."
