DNV已被任命为英国Northern Endurance Partnership（NEP）二氧化碳运输与储存项目的独立认证机构。该项目是英国东海岸集群的基础设施，将把来自蒂赛德工业排放源的二氧化碳输送至北海南部海床下进行封存。

　　DNV将负责验证项目的建设和运营是否符合英国政府颁发的二氧化碳运输与储存许可证要求。工作范围涵盖整个运输链，从压缩设施接收二氧化碳，到海上管道和注入系统。

　　DNV高级副总裁表示：“独立认证使监管机构和项目合作伙伴能够确信，复杂的二氧化碳运输基础设施是按照许可证要求交付的。对NEP而言，这意味着验证设计完整性、施工质量和调试准备情况，以便在二氧化碳首次输送时系统能够按预期运行。我们的作用是基于数十年的北海验证经验以及在CO2管道完整性和风险管理方面的技术专长，提供客观、基于证据的保证。”

　　NEP董事总经理补充道：“独立认证在英国首个也是最大的二氧化碳运输与储存资产的交付中发挥着至关重要的作用，有助于确保这一具有国家重要意义的基础设施按照最高的安全、质量和技术保证标准进行开发。”

　　独立认证机构角色是英国碳捕集与封存行业的一项新监管要求，旨在确保基础设施在投入运营前符合合规标准。
