ChainCatcher 消息，比特币矿企 Core Scientific 宣布将其位于德克萨斯州 Pecos 的挖矿基地转型为高密度 AI 协同定位数据中心，规划总功率容量达 1.5 GW，其中约 1 GW 可对外租赁。
作为转型的一部分，该站点约 300 MW 的挖矿容量将被重新分配用于数据中心运营，首个数据大厅已完成地基建设并进入主体施工阶段，预计 2027 年初投入使用。为支撑扩张计划，公司已在当地收购逾 200 英亩土地，并拟通过发行 33 亿美元高级担保票据及此前获得摩根士丹利 10 亿美元信贷额度，合计筹资逾 40 亿美元，用于在德克萨斯、佐治亚、北卡罗来纳及俄克拉荷马州推进数据中心建设。
