0109 GMT - Regis Resources gets a new bull in Morgans after its 3Q sales beat expectations, and gold equities were sold off as investors shifted bets due to the Middle East conflict. Regis reported quarterly gold sales of 89,100 oz. That was ahead of Morgans' 84,200 oz forecast. All-in sustaining costs of A$2,807/oz were also below the bank's A$2,898/oz projection, despite rising diesel costs. Analyst Ross Bennett upgrades Regis to buy, from hold. Morgans cites "recent weakness across the gold sector which we believe has uncovered value in Regis underpinned by attractive immediate term cash generation paired with a structured capital management framework."
