Sun Life Financial (SLF) shares rose 1.4% in Friday trading after National Bank upgraded the stock to outperform from sector perform and raised the price target to 109 Canadian dollars ($79.77) from CA$99.
Intraday trading topped 339,000 shares versus the daily average of about 742,000.
