海洋地球物理服务提供商Shearwater Geoservices已同意将SW Baret船舶出售给一位未公开的买家，该船将被改装为一艘专用震源船。
该公司表示，商定的销售价格超过了该船的账面净值，预计将为Shearwater带来账面收益，并对流动性产生积极影响。
该交易预计将于2026年第二季度末完成。
这艘建于2012年的船舶自2021年起一直处于闲置状态，出售后将进行改装，包括拆除拖缆绞车及相关设备。
Shearwater表示，这笔交易与早前宣布的另一份船舶销售协议备忘录无关，后者预计也将在第二季度内完成。
Shearwater首席财务官表示：“此次资产剥离支持Shearwater持续优化船队、根据战略和财务优先事项配置资本的工作。交易净收益将按照Shearwater银行和债券协议中适用的机制进行使用。”
