Geopacific Resources Completes Drilling at Papua New Guinea Gold Project Deposits, Shares Fall 8%

Geopacific Resources (ASX:GPR) completed drilling at the Wayai Creek, Little MacKenzie, Busai Deeps, and Great Northern deposits at the Woodlark gold project in Papua New Guinea during the March quarter, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.
The Woodlark project's definitive feasibility study is scheduled to be delivered in May.
Tropical cyclone Maila passed close to Woodlark in April, impacting activities on the island and causing damage to road infrastructure and local communities.
Its shares fell 8% in recent trading on Thursday.
