Sun Silver Says Nevada Silver Project Landholding Increased 219% Over March Quarter, Shares Fall 5%

Sun Silver (ASX:SS1) said an additional 427 lode claims were staked to the north and south of the existing boundary of the Maverick silver project in Nevada during the March quarter, representing a 219% increase in total landholding, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

Drilling over the March quarter continued to confirm the continuity, quality, and scale of silver-gold mineralization at the Maverick project.

Four diamond core drill rigs were mobilized on site as part of the drilling program. It is targeting the completion and release of a maiden scoping study at the project in the December quarter and the completion and release of a prefeasibility study in the June 2027 quarter.

Its shares fell 5% in recent trading on Thursday.
