Goldman Sachs (GS) has removed access to Anthropic's artificial intelligence models for its Hong Kong-based bankers, Reuters reported Tuesday, citing a person familiar with the matter.

Staff in the region had been using Anthropic's Claude via an internal platform, but access was recently discontinued after the bank reassessed its agreement with the AI firm, according to the report.

Alternative AI tools, including offerings from OpenAI and Google's (GOOG, GOOGL) Alphabet, continue to be available internally, the news agency reported.

Goldman didn't immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
