IT之家 4 月 30 日消息，当地时间 4 月 29 日，YouTube 宣布，iPhone 和 iPad 上的画中画功能将向全球更多用户开放。也就是说，这项功能不再只面向美国用户和 YouTube Premium 订阅用户。
全球非 Premium 用户接下来可以使用画中画来观看长视频和非音乐内容。美国用户以及全球 Premium 订阅用户此前已经能使用这项功能，因此体验不会发生变化。
Premium Lite 会员仍可使用画中画功能观看长篇非音乐内容，而高级会员则可使用画中画功能观看音乐和非音乐内容。
画中画功能会把正在播放的视频缩小成一个小窗口，方便用户在看视频的同时打开其他应用。据IT之家了解，用户只要上滑退出 YouTube 应用，视频就会继续以小窗口形式播放，小窗可以拖到屏幕任意位置。
按照 YouTube 的说法，这项调整将在未来数月内逐步上线。
