IT之家 5 月 3 日消息，据科技媒体 Appleinsider 昨天报道，苹果服务高级副总裁埃迪 · 库伊表示，公司希望拍摄《F1：狂飙飞车》电影续集，未来将持续投入 F1 赛车领域。
IT之家在此援引 Appleinsider，库伊在 5 月 1 日的迈阿密大奖赛接受采访时谈到《F1》电影和现实的 F1 赛车，他表示：“我希望、也预计会有续集”。
作为参考，《F1：狂飙飞车》电影全球票房超 6 亿美元，制作成本预估为 2 亿美元。今年 2 月，制片人 Jerry Bruckheimer 表示，已经在着手制作续集。
F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali 曾在今年初透露，《F1：狂飙飞车》续集不会在今年内上映，但未来可能出现。
库伊表示，F1 赛车的直播版权并非全球统一授权，但这不会影响苹果布局 F1 的计划。他希望通过流媒体转播，将 F1 推向更多地区市场。
