ChainCatcher 消息，日本金融巨头 SBI 控股已就收购加密交易平台 Bitbank 股份展开谈判，旨在将其变为合并子公司。SBI 董事长兼总裁北尾吉孝表示，公司已提交收购意向书，并开始与 Bitbank 就资本与业务合作进行讨论。具体收购时机和结构将待尽职调查及内部程序完成后确定。
Bitbank 是日本主要的国内加密交易平台之一，自 2014 年成立以来未发生过黑客攻击事件，以安全为核心卖点。随着加密资产逐步被纳入日本《金融工具与交易法》，SBI 认为将 Bitbank 纳入集团将增强其在日本加密市场的地位。此举正值 SBI 持续整合其旗下加密交易平台 SBI VC Trade。上个月，SBI 已将另一家交易平台 Bitpoint Japan 并入该部门，以精简运营和提高盈利能力。
本周早些时候，Bitbank 还推出了日本首张与加密资产挂钩的信用卡，允许用户根据其交易所持仓，使用比特币等资产支付账单，并提供 0.5% 的加密资产消费返现。
