HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering (KRX:009540) secured an order for three very large gas carriers (VLGCs) from South Korean shipper KSS Shipping.
The deal is valued at 504.8 billion won. The shipbuilder will deliver the vessels by Aug. 31, 2029, according to a Monday filing with the Korean Exchange.
Shares of HD Korea Shipbuilding rose more than 1% in recent trade.
