消息面上，据新华社报道，美国总统特朗普3日在社交媒体发文称，美国将于中东地区4日上午开始一项疏导行动，“引导”被困在霍尔木兹海峡的船只驶离该海峡。此外，日本上周四实施了自2024年7月以来的首次外汇干预，耗资约345亿美元。除汇市干预外，日本外汇事务负责人三村淳上周五暗示，必要时日本或干预原油期货市场。
值得注意的是，阿拉伯石油输出国组织3日发布声明，确认阿联酋已正式退出该组织。OPEC+周日表示，已同意将石油产量每日提高18.8万桶。这是该组织失去关键成员国阿联酋后召开的首次会议，显示其仍在推进增产安排。周日公布的数字不包括阿联酋的产量份额。
