EgyptAir Receives First Boeing 737 Max Jet

Boeing (BA) and EgyptAir said Sunday the Egyptian national airline received its first 737 Max aircraft.

The 737-8 marks the first of 18 jets leased from SMBC Aviation Capital to be delivered to the company.

EgyptAir will use the new planes on short- and medium-haul routes to Paris, Brussels, Istanbul Vienna and other destinations, the companies said.
