Magnetic Resources (ASX:MAU) said it intersected high-grade gold mineralization during a recent drilling at its Lady Julie Gold Project in Western Australia, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The results were up to 15 meters at 3.9 grams per tonne gold from 200 meters, including 10 meters at 5.5 grams per tonne gold from 205 meters.

In the same filing, the company said the board continues to unanimously support the Genesis scheme and recommends that shareholders vote in favor of it in the absence of a superior proposal and subject to the independent expert continuing to conclude the scheme is in the best interests of shareholders, it added.
