NANO Nuclear Energy宣布，已与人工智能服务器领域领导者超微电脑签署一份谅解备忘录，共同探索利用先进核微反应堆为下一代AI数据中心供电。
随着AI技术的爆发，数据中心的电力需求正以前所未有的速度增长，这已成为制约算力扩张的关键瓶颈。根据合作框架，双方计划将NANO Nuclear正在开发的KRONOS MMR等微型模块化反应堆系统，与超微电脑业界领先的AI服务器及数据中心平台进行整合，旨在打造一种不受电网限制、可全天候提供清洁电力的“自供电”AI基础设施。
NANO Nuclear董事长Jay Yu表示：“AI革命本质上是一场能源挑战，我们相信核能是唯一可扩展的解决方案。”他指出，通过结合超微电脑的硬件生态，双方旨在实现“计算+电力”的垂直整合。超微电脑则能借此为其全球数据中心客户提供一站式、脱网运行的绿色能源方案。
此次不具约束力的备忘录为未来签订最终协议铺平了道路。若合作落地，将有望突破当前AI部署面临的电网负荷与碳排放松绑难题，为数据中心建设开创全新范式。
