智通财经APP获悉，周三，Hut 8(HUT.US)盘初暴涨超32%，续创历史新高，年内累涨132%。消息面上，Hut 8表示，已签署一份为期15年、保底价值98亿美元的租赁协议，将为一家“高投资等级公司”提供算力支持。这家数据中心开发商拒绝透露位于得克萨斯州努埃塞斯县Beacon Point园区内新AI设施的承租方。Hut 8在周三的一份声明中表示，若承租方行使所有三个为期五年的续约选项，合同总价值最高可达251亿美元。
Beacon Point数据中心已获批接入高达1吉瓦(这一电力规模足以同时为75万户美国家庭供电)的电力容量。AEP Texas公司将于2027年第一季度开始为该设施输送电力。目前，Hut 8旗下Beacon Point园区与路易斯安那州River Bend园区已签署租赁协议总额达168 亿美元。这两个项目的工程与建设均由Jacobs Solutions Inc.负责，而数据中心冷却等问题则由Vertiv Holdings Co.(VRT.US)处理。
