Middleby Fiscal Q1 Adjusted Earnings, Revenue Rise; Raises 2026 Guidance

Middleby (MIDD) reported Thursday fiscal Q1 adjusted earnings from continuing operations of $2.16 per diluted share, down from $1.87 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $1.94.

Net sales for the quarter ended April 4 were $839.9 million, compared with $730.6 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $777.2 billion.

The company said it expects fiscal Q2 adjusted EPS of $2.27-$2.39 per share on net sales of $815 million to 850 million. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.28 per share and $828.4 million, respectively.

For fiscal 2026, Middleby raised its adjusted EPS guidance to $9.54 to 9.70 per share from $9.20 to $9.36. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $9.29. Net sales guidance for the year were increased to $3.36 billion to 3.44 billion from $3.27 billion to $3.36 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $3.32 billion.

Shares of the company were up 7.7% in Thursday's premarket activity.
