South Korean motor and generator manufacturer HD Hyundai Electric (KRX:267260) secured a contract to supply 765KV transformers and reactors to its US unit.
The HD Hyundai Electric America contract, valued at 173 billion won, is valid until Aug. 31, 2029, according to a Thursday filing with the Korea Exchange. It was re-awarded after the unit secured the deal from a large-scale utility company in the US.
