There was a fairly draconian cut to their revenue estimates, perhaps an implicit admission that previous forecasts were much too optimistic.   AI is about to change healthcare. After the downgrade, the consensus from Magellan Financial Group's six analysts is for revenues of AU$252m in 2026, which would reflect a perceptible 4.1% decline in sales compared to the last year of performance.       Statutory earnings per share are anticipated to shrink 2.4% to AU$0.73 in the same period.        Previously, the analysts had been modelling revenues of AU$280m and earnings per share (EPS) of AU$0.79 in 2026.        Indeed, we can see that analyst sentiment has declined measurably after the new consensus came out, with a substantial drop in revenue estimates and a small dip in EPS estimates to boot. One thing that stands out from these estimates is that shrinking revenues are expected to moderate over the period ending 2026 compared to the historical decline of 20% per annum over the past five years.
