据悉，南方全球精选作为国内首批QDII-FOF类基金，是国内较为特别的可以实现全球资产配置的基金中的基金（FOF）。该产品有望通过向投资者提供全球资产配置的策略，并进行多资产的组合配置，力求为投资者带来较高的收益、较低的波动以及更好的投资体验。投资策略方面，南方全球精选的投资策略分为战略性配置和战术性配置，其中战略性配置占80%，战术性配置占20%。
4月22日，南方全球精选A在2026年一季度财报中披露最新持仓显示，前三大重仓股为壁仞科技、中远海运国际、力勤资源，持仓市值分别为0.27亿元、0.19亿元、0.14亿元。与上季度相比，中远海运国际、力勤资源新晋十大重仓股，持仓市值为1891.13万元、1429.66万元，持仓数量为341.6万股、85.4万股。
