Shares of ride-hailing service Lyft wobbled in after-hours trading on a strong earnings report, with both revenue and gross bookings beating analyst expectations. Earnings, on the other hand, came in a bit light.

Shares initially rose a few percentage points after the report was released before falling around 3%.

Revenue for the first quarter came in at $1.650 billion, ahead of expectations for $1.631 billion. Earnings per share on a generally-accepted accounting basis 4 cents a share. Analyst expected adjusted earnings of 5 cents a share.

A bright spot was gross bookings, which came in at $4.946 billion, versus the $4.911 billion analysts surveyed by FactSet had expected.

Before the report, shares had been down 27% in 2026. They close at $14.07 in regular trading.
