快科技5月5日消息，开发者在小米代码库中发现了一款代号为Q5的神秘新品，一度引发了市场对于小米MIX 5回归的广泛猜测。
然而博主数码闲聊站随后辟谣指出，这款代号为Q5的新机实际上是小米18系列新品。目前小米MIX系列已将重心转向折叠屏，直板旗舰重任则由数字系列担纲。
根据最新曝光的消息，小米18系列预计将于今年9月正式亮相。此次小米将同步推出小米18、小米18 Pro以及小米18 Pro Max三款旗舰机型。
在核心配置上，小米18标准版将首极高通骁龙8E6芯片。而顶配的小米18 Pro Max则将首发性能更强劲的高通骁龙8E6 Pro，标志着小米手机正式迈入2nm时代。
这两颗芯片均采用台积电最先进的2nm工艺制造，在性能与能效比上将迎来里程碑式的飞跃。除了性能突破，小米18 Pro Max还将带回经典的背屏设计。
