IT之家 5 月 4 日消息，据外媒 The Information 报道，Anthropic 看上了英国芯片初创企业 Fractile 的推理芯片，有意将其作为 NVIDIA（英伟达）GPU、Amazon（亚马逊）Trainium、Google（谷歌）TPU 外的第四类 AI 算力资源，目标 2027 年实现部署。相关谈判仍处于早期阶段。
IT之家了解到，Fractile 的芯片采用了不同于现有主流 AI XPU 的“模拟内存计算”架构，宣称运行头部模型时可实现 25 倍的速度、1/10 的成本。该企业此前得到了前 Intel（英特尔）首席执行官 Pat Gelsinger（帕特 · 基辛格）的投资。
