英特尔公司周一宣布两项重要高管任命，从高通再次引入一名资深高管，以加强其核心产品业务并推动AI创新议程。

　　曾在高通任职多年的Alex Katouzian将加入英特尔，担任执行副总裁兼客户端计算与物理AI集团总经理。在这一职位上，他将负责协调英特尔的客户端计算业务与新兴的物理AI系统（涵盖机器人、自主机器及其他AI设备）的融合发展。Katouzian将直接向英特尔CEO陈立武汇报，于本月正式履新。

　　这是英特尔今年从高通挖来的第二位高管。今年1月，英特尔已任命另一位前高通高管Eric Demers担任GPU架构高级副总裁。陈立武在声明中表示：“Alex带来了深厚的技术专长、强大的运营纪律以及数十年构建和扩展全球计算平台的经验，是帮助我们重新构想PC之外的客户端计算的合适领导者。”

　　Katouzian在高通长期担任执行副总裁兼移动、计算和扩展现实集团总经理，在高通任职长达25年。此次任命正值英特尔股价过去一年飙升383%之际，显示出市场对公司转型战略的期待。

　　与此同时，英特尔还宣布将此前担任临时首席技术官的Pushkar Ranade正式任命为首席技术官。Ranade将继续兼任CEO幕僚长，负责推进量子计算、神经形态计算、光子学等新兴领域的技术战略。
